Deputy Secretary General

Greetings!

In the Holy Bible in Hosea Chapter 6, it is written that,“Come, and let us return unto the Lord: for He has torn us, that He may heal us; He has struck us down, and He will bind us up”. God Almighty has created each one of us in His own image and likeness, thus each one of us share the responsibility of healing, consoling, sharing and cooperating with one another to make this Earth a better place to live in for our future generations.

We at BMVB MUN 2019 firmly believe that there is a ray of hope to channelize every situation. BMVBMUN is an endeavour to make a difference in the way we think and take decisions that affect the global community A thriving conference helps you hone your debating and negotiating skills, gives you the opportunity to express your views and of course, boosts your confidence, exponentially.

I hope this conference will be a memorable experience for each one of us, one that we will always cherish. Together we will make BMVBMUN'19 a success and I wish you all the best.

Regards,
Deputy Secretary General

MESSAGE OF THE DIRECTOR GENERAL

Ekta Choudhary

Director General

Greetings, Prospective Delegates!

I wholeheartedly welcome you all to the second iteration of BMVBMUN Conference 2019. I would like to convey my deep sense of gratitude to the Organizing Committee, our coordinators and all the people whose contributions and utter hard work have been critical to the inception of this event.

As has been rightly put by Kofi Annan, “More than ever before in human history, we share a common destiny. We can master it only if we face it together. And that, my friends, is why we have the United Nations", our aim at BMVB MUN will not be just providing the young delegates with a platform to rigidly discuss and debate upon the existing grave crisis, but to impart a skill of acting in cooperation and suggest reforms to make this world a peaceful place.

This year we will be hosting our participants into 4 dynamic committees focusing upon various topics ranging from terrorism to territorial and socio-religious disputes. We seek to provide an environment, which in the presence of these committees will make you cognizant of the widespread issues, international relationships and will transform you into well-opinionated diplomats.

We look forward to seeing you all in the journey of making a better tomorrow.

Warm Regards,
Director General

MESSAGE OF THE HEAD OF IP

Komal Khurana

Komal Khurana

Head of International Press

Greetings!

On behalf of the entire International Press team, I welcome you all to Balvantray Mehta Vidya Bhawan Model United Nations Conference 2019 (BMVB MUN 2019).

We, the International Press (IP) team will be jointly working day and night to unearth information that has to make the newsletter. We wish to make the newsletter a collection of myriad moments of BMVBMUN’19 and not just a transcript of the debates. Having participated in conferences over the previous years, I come with a word of advice for you all delegates, especially the newbies – it is not important to be an eloquent orator as to be a smart and wise speaker. Speak less but when you do, your thoughts should leave a mark on every brain listening to you.

We hope that the following two days fill our pages with facts, explanations and solutions that would probably help us in the future.

Regards,
Head of IP
